Plan tools

Below are a selection of brief guides showing how to use the Tetradian 'Plan tools'.

These are used to create plans to resolve an issue. They are fully described

in the Tools for Change-mapping book, out soon.

The SCORE tool

How can you find out if your organisation is able to resolve an issue? You use the SCORE tool to explore what capabilities your organisation has to resolve an issue. SCORE is an adapted version of SWOT designed by Albert Humphrey.

Find out more about this tool in the Tools for Change-mapping book, page 74.

The Where to start tool

Imagine you have an issue which needs to be resolved, but you don’t know how to solve it, what can you do? You use the Where to start tool to break down exactly how an issue will be resolved. Especially when there are unknowns about the issue.

Find out more about this tool in the Tools for Change-mapping book, page 78.

The SCAN tool

When resolving an issue how much do you know about how to actually solve it? You use the SCAN tool to explore what is known and what isn’t known about resolving an issue.

Find out more about this tool in the Tools for Change-mapping book, page 82.
